Job Description

A financial analyst should be strategic-minded, analytical, and problem-solving to successfully support the funding activities and associated requirements of a fast-growing FinTech company.

What You'll Do:

Develop and maintain proprietary databases, reports, and monitor

Build asset and liability bond models related to structured finance offerings secured by consumer finance assets

Manage data files of individual consumer loans and prepare summary disclosure/stratification tables

Work with mathematical modelling and algorithmic development

Analyze loan information for securitization deals, whole loan transactions, and warehouse facilities

Handle information for a variety of financial assets, and providing analysis and reporting for warehouse financing, securitizations, and corporate projects

Collaborate with senior financial officers, senior technical and development officers, and operation teams

Requirements

What You Need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics, or another related technical major is required

2-3 years of comparable experience in a financial institution with focus on structured finance and financial services

Familiar with consumer financial products (e.g., loans, leases, mortgages, asset-backed securities etc.)

Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with strong VBA and Database SQL and Power BI skills

Ability to work in a high pressure, dynamic environment

Team player and able to interact with team members

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of automotive finance or FinTech

Familiarity with advanced programming languages is an asset

Understanding of financial models, statistical analysis, and simulation

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other team members

Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Multitasking experience (handle multiple priorities and effectively meet deadlines)
