About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as an FP&A business partner to our Technology organizations (e.g. Engineering, Product & Experience, IT, and Algorithms & Analytics). You will be providing end-to-end finance support, including opex and capex forecasting, monthly close, and headcount planning. You will build strong relationships with our Technology leadership, driving insights into monthly variances, leading quarterly forecasts, and annual planning processes. You will be empowered with visibility to the entire organization, which provides a unique opportunity to develop insights that will meaningfully impact our business. The successful candidate will be a team player who possesses strong analytical skills; a well-rounded understanding of financial statements; and enjoys solving complex business problems. 

You're excited about this opportunity because you will...

  • Build strong partnerships with departmental leadership across the organization to make informed business decisions and provide end-to-end FP&A support, including but not limited to: Headcount planning, opex/capex forecasting, analyzing ROIs, and driving strategic initiatives
  • Manage and track financial performance against annual budget, seasonal financial plans, and KPIs
  • Analyze variances to plan and forecast, providing insight on current and expected trends, and identifying areas of risk and opportunities
  • Collaborate with Accounting on the monthly close process
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and lead process improvement efforts
  • Prepare monthly financial review presentations, recapping results vs. plan and forecast for management meetings 
  • Drive ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to aid in decision-making
  • Evolve tools, enhance existing reporting, and improve business processes in partnership with Finance and the business

 We're excited about you because...

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and 3 to 5 years of financial analysis experience with exposure to forecasting, budgeting and monthly close activities
  • You have superior spreadsheet skills (experience with Google tools helpful), including basic financial modeling, and can put together a mean deck
  • You possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills
  • You’re able to identify opportunities for business improvement and take initiative to drive necessary changes
  • You have experience with Anaplan, Essbase, and/or similar planning and reporting tools
  • You embrace challenges - approaching complex problems in an organized and detail-oriented manner
  • You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven success partnering and collaborating across a wide spectrum of functions
  • You work well in a demanding, fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities
  • You’re highly self-motivated, you have a stellar work ethic and you’re looking for the right company to support your growth potential
