Genesys is growing rapidly, and the Customer Success Strategic Finance Team is looking for an accomplished Senior Analyst with finance, data, and teamwork skills who can thrive in a dynamic and entrepreneurial organization. The Customer Success Strategic Finance team at Genesys is the core liaison between our various business partners and finance organization. This team is the "glue" that connects the dots between what happens in the field and how it interfaces with the finance organization.

This role will report to the Strategic Finance Manager for Customer Success.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop maintain financial models to understand and facilitate effective decision making for the Customer Success organization.
  • Ownership of financial planning such as monthly forecasts, annual budgets, variance analysis, etc
  • Assist in drafting finance and business presentations.
  • Deliver insights into drivers of business growth, costs, use metrics, and identify risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure monthly financial results are stated accurately in partnership with the Accounting organization (GAAP knowledge a plus).


Key Qualifications:

  • BS/BA or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of finance experience; publicly traded company experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to articulate complex financial data and concepts in simple business terms.
  • Motivated and resourceful; autonomously capable of seeking information, solving complex problems, compiling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations.
  • Excellent financial modeling skills, together with demonstrated capabilities building financial forecasts, analyses of large data sets, and ad hoc strategic models.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once, and to self-direct your efforts as appropriate among competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner, build trust, communicate with, and influence senior leaders and business partners.
  • Ability to work comfortably with high level of ambiguity and complexity.
  • Exceptionally detail oriented and able to translate big-picture analysis.
  • Experience with accruals and other quarterly accounting entries.
  • Excellent competency in Office Suite; Tableau, Oracle (e.g., EPM Cloud Planning, Smart View for Office), Salesforce, and/or NetSuite experience preferred.
