ABOUT THIS POSITION
Aceable is seeking a Senior Accountant to own key accounting processes for the Company including the monthly close process and provide support on the external audit requirements and ad hoc accounting projects.

ABOUT THE ACCOUNTING & FINANCE TEAM
The Finance team is a data-driven, results oriented group that supports Aceable in monitoring and analyzing data for strategic decision-making. We take great pride in being a key partner to leaders across the organization as decisions about the business are considered. The Finance team consists of the Accounting, FP&A, M&A execution and integration, as well as Legal functions. Aceable recently completed a $50 million Series C round which will fuel an impressive growth and EBITDA profile. Aceable is well-positioned to grow organically and through acquisition in which the Finance team will play a critical part.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Oversee and own all B2C revenue processes for the company, including deferred revenue and management reporting while proactively seeking ways to streamline & book revenue more efficiently
- Create, Improve & Own other key processes such as cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accrued liabilities, equity, etc
- Ensure US GAAP guidance is implemented and followed for key accounting processes
- Stay current with changing GAAP regulations and assist in building out the implementation plan for any guidance changes
- A primary owner in the end to end month-end close process, including producing financial reports for management, reconciliation of subledger to general ledger and explaining variances in accounts
- Research proper GAAP treatment for unique and non recurring transactions
- Ensure any controls in place are being following for key accounting areas and all related documentation is properly maintained
- Assist Senior Accounting Manager in periodic special projects in relation to projections, variance analysis, and/or incorporating new accounting compliance controls and processes
- Support the annual audit and other Accounting functions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of relevant Accounting experience in industry or 2+ years in public accounting
- 2+ years using both QuickBooks Online and NetSuite, strongly preferred
- Strong experience in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Adherence to tight deadlines and quick turnaround for accounting deliverables
- Customer service mindset towards vendors and employees
- Ability to work collaboratively and work in a dynamic environment where adaptability is imperative
