The Manager of Revenue Optimization leads the Revenue Optimization team to optimize collection activity, processes and outcomes for clients impacting results/performance, retention, and Onyx revenue. This role reports to the Director Revenue Management & Optimization yet maintains close working relationships with the Client Services organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Coach, lead and develop the Revenue Optimization Team.
  2. Establish a team dynamic/culture that drives 'sense of urgency' and performance within the team
  3. Proactive and systematic monitoring, analysis and follow-up of performance.
  4. Monitors trends for prevailing clients on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis, raises potential issues and recommends viable solutions and actions
  5. Identifies potential action plans/campaigns for targeted Clients based on leading indicators/trends.
  6. Proactively and systematically reports KPIs of team and overall performance to internal stakeholders
  7. If ever in place, this role leads the monitoring of and relationship with any 3rd party collection/revenue optimization vendors. Understands industry best practices and applies learnings/opportunities to current processes
  8. Increase loyalty and client satisfaction. Ensure quality controls are in place.
  9. Contribute to improved processes and quality control for our performance.
  10. Evaluate and implement training plan for the team as required.
  11. Engage with relevant teams and stakeholders internally to ensure full compliance and effective outcomes for customers.
  12. Accurately and concisely report chasing performance.
  13. Manage team assignments and capacity.
  14. Conduct annual performance reviews of team members.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Fluent in English
  • Previous leadership experience required; managing a virtual team a plus



Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of the specific department.
  • Better than average written and spoken communication skills.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills.
  • Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and department staff members in various countries/regions.
  • Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the organization's management team that provides leadership and direction.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Excellent organizational management skills.
