Overview

The Investor Relations Analyst is responsible for assisting in the management and fulfilment of the reporting and research needs of the Investor Relations department. This team member will support all department members, other members of the treasury and accounting organizations and executive management.

Responsibilities

JOB DUTIES

• Assist in drafting press releases and coordinating all quarter-end and public communications
• Analyze trends in the auto finance/consumer finance sector and provide actionable intelligence reports to the department and senior management
• Monitor competitor disclosures and provide intelligence reports to the treasury organization and executive management
• Assist in completion of various IR projects
• Assist in drafting presentation materials eg, slides, talking points and back-up material used by executive management
• Work with risk management, pricing and product development, treasury, accounting and other departments to gather and generate information to communicate the GMF message to various constituencies, including, but not limited to, fixed income investors
• Assist in responding to GM IR data requests and in the coordination of the overall GMF investor message
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Conform with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Knowledge

• Knowledge of accounting and financial principles, and financial analysis
• Understanding and appreciation of the capital markets
• Understanding of or desire to learn investor relations principles and functions

Skills

• Ability to analyze financial data and communicate findings in various mediums
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects while producing accurate work and exercising careful judgment under stressful situations
• Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products along with a desire to learn other software packages eg, Workiva, Power BI, and the ability to quickly conduct research through multiple sources
• Must get along with others throughout the entire organization and have ability to interact with senior management
• Must be able to accurately and effectively perform under pressure to meet deadlines

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline required

Experience

• 0-3 years in investor relations, accounting or finance discipline and or the auto finance industry preferred

Hybrid work environment: 1-2 days a week in office in Fort Worth, TX
