The Fund Associate is responsible for ensuring all trades and daily operations are executed in a timely manner. The role adds value by practicing problem-solving skills and identifying process improvement opportunities to deliver on our promises to our clients and advisors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support daily balancing of trades
- Prepare, reconcile, and verify a series of weekly/monthly balancing reports
- Research and resolve accounting and other out of balances
- Upload/Process daily files within the recordkeeping system
- Escalate issues to management/designated on call associate
- Maintain documentation and procedures around assigned responsibilities
- Complete phone calls to mutual fund companies to establish new accounts, provide large trade notifications, or obtain other information as assigned
- Process nightly shift as assigned
- Process delayed trades, if applicable
- Process Suspense and Weekly SAGA BAL
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's required; Bachelor's preferred in Accounting, Business or related field
- 1-3-year experience (may be compensated by relevant educational background)
- Advanced mutual funds, investments, and annuity knowledge
- General accounting knowledge
- Critical problem-solving skills
- Works well with data
- Adaptability and openness to diverse perspectives
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Forward thinking, willingness to continually learn and knowledge share
- Training skills
Salary Band: 02B

This selected candidate will be expected to work Hybrid in Indianapolis, IN.The candidate will also be expected to physically return to the office in IN as business needs dictate or for team-building and collaboration.
