Job Responsibilities

  • Requires intermediate knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations including an intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles to include accounting methods (cash, accrual, and full GAAP).
  • Preparation of detailed financial modeling for transaction activity under consideration to support the overall business case development
  • Proactively manage execution of client deliverables to ensure excellence and consistency
  • Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for input into client deliverables and valuation models.
  • Abstraction, analysis, and interpretation of commercial lease documents
  • Proactively work to reduce errors and mistakes identified during the processes
  • Maintain high quality data integrity within client and internal systems.
  • Prepares clear, concise, and presentation-ready documentation and spreadsheets that support and explain the basis of the analyses for use in client presentations, proposals and/or reports.
  • Communicates with clients to assemble financial information, market data and property information for underwriting and marketing.
  • Solid understanding of key valuation metrics (cap rate, cash-on-cash, IRRetc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of fundamental real estate principles

Communication, Reporting, Marketing

  • Be an active ambassador for the usage of existing and new Business Intelligence tools
  • Research our clients' business and identify appropriate content to support business development activities.
  • Collaborates with senior team members to develop strategies and value propositions for proposals, presentations, and other pursuit-related materials.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Software Tools: MS Office Products, very strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrated elite financial competency at a detailed level of operation
  • Ability to collaborate across many levels
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy and ability to make effective decisions and solve problems
  • Strong organization, analytical, and coordination skills
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent level of customer service skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to tasks assigned
  • Excellent interpersonal skills / interpersonal sensitivity
  • Strong financial/analytical and organizational skills
  • Must handle multiple tasks, manage time effectively, and establish priorities to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing team environment.
