Director, Financial Planning & Analysis
Summary:
The Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will serve as a key member of SailPoint's finance leadership team and a valued business partner to members of the executive management team. He/she will be the finance point of contact for the Executive VP of Product Management and Engineering, a member of the Senior Executive Leadership Team. The role also includes leading the finance team in charge of forecasting and analyzing bookings, revenue and annual recurring revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with the EVP of Product Management and Engineering and his direct staff to set a vision for operational and financial metrics that support the financial goals of the company
- Lead the top line portion of the annual budgeting and long-term strategic planning activities
- Translate and interpret our financial results into operational recommendations to improve and accelerate the business; perform ad hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions
- Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for acquisitions and other ad-hoc financial projects
- Manage a high performing team of five FP&A managers and analysts
Requirements:
- A highly metrics-driven individual with strong analytical abilities
- Demonstrated track record in building and developing superior finance teams with best practices in a high-growth, high change environment
- Outstanding financial leadership skills and expertise with an emphasis on translating financial insights into operational recommendations
- An excellent manager with experience in leading and mentoring direct reports and teams to ensure professional development and performance
- Prior SaaS/software experience highly preferred
- At least 5 years of managerial experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Ability and willingness to be hands-on and dive into the detail
- Proven ability to partner across multiple business functions and influence decisions
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint and financial modeling skills
Education:
Bachelors degree in finance or accounting. MBA a plus, but not required.
