Your day to day

Director Finance, Franchise Royalty & Fees/Director, Finance Business Partner - Hotel Lifecycle & Growth/Director, Finance Business Partner - Commercial & Revenue Management/Director, Finance Business Partner - Development and Global Sales/Director Finance Business Partnering, Global Technology/Director Finance Business Partnering, Hotel & Owner Solutions
  • Partner the development of the business strategy and proactively challenge priorities
  • Develop business cases to influence commercial decision-making including strategic resource allocation
  • Identify and drive longer-term cost & revenue optimisation opportunities
  • Drive tactical performance interventions with the business to close gaps to plan and steer project delivery
  • Enhance commercial acumen of FBPs and business leaders by proactively engaging with business counterparts to understand business drivers and industry / competitive challenges
  • Partner the (3-year) strategic planning process, formal budget review process and quarterly forecast review process
  • Validate and present monthly / quarterly financial performance reports and commentary of high value business areas including transparency of risks and opportunities
  • Influence decision-making of senior management by assessing risks and opportunities to improve key financial and winnings metrics
  • Recommend improvement opportunities by benchmarking performance within / across regions
  • Perform post-investment (e.g. stage-gate) reviews of high value projects and incorporate learnings into future investment proposals
  • Partner the development of new innovations (including new brands, concepts and technologies)
  • Support the integration of acquisitions into IHG ways of working, processes and systems
  • Focus on proactive risk management and controls
  • Experienced business leader with at least 10 years of finance, strategy, and/or management consulting experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams, driving change, and challenging & communicating with senior leadership in a complex matrix organization
  • Financial Systems (e.g. Holidex, GRS, Concerto, Essbase)

What we need from you

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance or related field required. Master's Degree or equivalent work experience in business, finance or related field preferred
