Director, Accounting - Merchant
Essential Job Responsibilities:• Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including revenue recognition determination, journal entry review, balance sheet reconciliation review and oversight of the month end accounting and financial reporting processes.• Maintain an effective control structure that results in the accurate and timely reporting of the Division's financial results, ensuring compliance with established Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls, GAAP, and Fiserv Corporate Policies.• Foster a positive and proactive work environment, emphasizing respect for individuals, high standards of quality, customer service, innovation and teamwork.• Drive strong results orientation within department by motivating staff and holding them accountable to meet organizational goals• Serve as trusted advisor on business issues by becoming skillfully knowledgeable of key drivers that impact business performance across the Division.• Oversee audits, as required, with external and internal auditors, including supervising the audit process, preparing all necessary schedules / analyses• Identify, communicate, and execute on opportunities to improve internal controls and policies and procedures to streamline operations.• Perform other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
Education:• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
Certifications:• Certified Public Accountant a plus.
