Job Summary:

This Analyst's primary responsibility is to support our global financial service operations in investigating reconciliation issues, suggesting corrective actions, work with the technical team to address system issues, and support enhancements, product release updates, and automation efforts. Incumbent will be the liaison between the business units, technical teams, and financial operations.

Incumbent working closely with cross-functional business teams to gain a solid understanding of the system processes and applications to support the Financial Service Managers with operational constraints/defects, analyze data flows, discuss findings, and design an appropriate solution. Incumbents of this position will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage in multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Be the liaison between the business units, technical teams, and operations.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis, projects, and develops reports as requested to drive overall efficiency.
  • Serves as a lead and point of contact for financial service operations escalations, troubleshooting, and technical or system issues.
  • Develop detail process design document that will be used to develop solution design document.
  • Document user reported problem, manage progress of JIRA defect tickets, and provide resolution with appropriate context and corrective action.
  • Writing technical documentation and business documents.
  • Data exploration with Power BI and Web Intelligence.
  • Understand functional area business processes.
  • Participates in workflows, progress diagrams, and gap analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Research issues, suggest corrective actions, and address system issues.
  • Support test activities which includes creating test plans, execute and document test results



Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 4-year college degree, qualifications or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years business analyst or similar analytical work experience.
  • Team is based in the USA, EU, and APAC, which will require flexibility to participate in meetings outside normal working hours.
  • Experience in accounting/finance business functions and best practices.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of business operational practices and ability to understand complex internally developed systems.
  • Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including managers and subject matter experts to communicate new ideas/issues.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks while working under deadlines.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, independent, self-driven, problem solving attitude and curiosity to find new and efficient approaches to our operations.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office.
  • Project management experience desired.
  • Experience with the following technologies is a plus: database management, report design, SQL, use case requirements, Python, or financial system configuration of general ledger.
