How you will make an impact:

As our Senior Billing and Collections Analyst, you'll be essential to driving the efficiency and effectiveness of  Iterable’s Order to Cash operations. Reporting to the Order to Cash Manager, you will help operate and build a best in class, scalable collections, invoicing, and A/R  function to support our rapid growth. You will also have opportunities to assist in system implementation and related optimization projects. This is an incredible opportunity to join a highly motivated and fun team poised for success.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Process sales orders in our billing system and review for data integrity and accuracy 
• Process customer billings (recurring, one-time, and usage) and verify the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of invoices
• Upload invoices against POs in vendor portals as needed
• Apply deposits, including cash, credit card, and electronic payments
• Manage billing inbox to address inquiries from customer and internal teams
• Facilitate approvals and process credits where appropriate 
• Build and manage the collections process to maintain healthy aged receivable balances
• Maintain documentation around AR processes and policies
• Review aging and send targeted payment reminders to customers
• Collaborate with Customer Success to identify reasons for non-payment and resolve issues
• Serve as primary point of contact with third party collections agency (submitting accounts, responding to inquiries)
• Participate in system and process optimization projects to help scale operations
• Field various audit requests where appropriate
• Be a versatile team player that can perform various tasks ranging from routine close procedures to ad-hoc projects

We are looking for people who have:

• 2+ years of experience in billing and collections
• Ability to take full ownership of collection duties
• Experience with  SaaS billing systems such as Zuora
• Familiarity of subscription and overage usage billing practices
• Familiarity  with Salesforce
• Strong knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
• Eagerness to work in a dynamic, high growth, and fast-paced environment
• Previous experience recommending and implementing process improvements
• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks; strong organizational and time management skills required
• Enjoys working with customers and cross-functional departments as it relates to billing
