The Role

We are looking for a remote actuarial manager with diversified actuarial, analytical and technical skills to support Circulo’s core actuarial work streams. In this highly visible and impactful role, the individual will serve as a subject matter expert in benefit pricing, financial forecasting, payment models, and data analysis.

Who we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of health actuarial and analytical experience working with payer, provider, and beneficiary data
  • 3+ years of experience pricing traditional insurance programs as well as risk sharing arrangements
  • Familiarity with Managed Medicaid, Commercial, or Medicare programs from prior or current work experience
  • Continuous progress towards exams completions (Associate credentials preferred)

What you will do:

  • Advance the role of Actuarial as a strategic thought partner across the business and will contribute to a culture of theory testing and data-driven decision making
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization to develop benefit pricing, rate adequacy evaluation, and program advocacy
  • Create provider payment models and analyses in support of various contracting efforts
  • Lead the development of short and long term financial forecasting and reporting
  • Develop short-term, quick-win functionality as well as longer-term, deeply actuarial capabilities that will provide insights and contribute to organization goals
