Senior Systems Analyst

About the Role:
We are searching for an expert and IT owner for our Accounting application software. You'll lead changes and improvements to our current accounting application software, strategize and implement new ways of improving processes and productivity, and document processes and requirements for these changes. You'll partner with the business to enhance current configuration, identify opportunities for functionality uptake and build and support recurring projects. You'll report to the VP, Global IT & Facilities and support the broader Finance organization's system needs.
You Will:
- Provide daily ERP administration support around process enhancements, security assignments, and reporting requests and act as the escalation point for ERP process or configuration issues raised by end-users.
- Consult as the system expert with partners and end-users to find opportunities to improve our processes by rethinking existing configurations.
- Build reports and dashboards to create self service, and develop user procedures, guidelines, documentation, end-user training resources and communications.
- Lead testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end process testing and user acceptance testing, and manage upgrades and releases.
- Working with the Internal Control Compliance Manager, ensure internal controls over the systems, including those over user access, change management, and user control considerations are designed and operating effectively.
- Work with InfoSec to ensure application security is compliant with Remitly's Information Security policies
- Work with Finance to help define their systems roadmap, evaluate, select and implement systems
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting, Operations, Information Systems
- Solid finance knowledge including Accounting, Close Process, Financial Reporting, SOX, and Internal Controls.
- 5+ years of experience in ERP (Oracle/Netsuite) or other accounting/finance application.
- Experience in identifying and executing operational improvements
- Program and project management skills and passion for/knowledge of accounting and related systems.
