Why we’re hiring
Alloy is scaling rapidly and we’re looking for a highly motivated Accountant to join our growing finance team. You will play a critical role in supporting the accounting team in the month-end close process, year end audit as well as help develop and implement key processes and systems to scale the accounting operations to support the fast growing business. We’re looking for someone who is a team player, resourceful problem solver, analytical thinker and not afraid to get their hands dirty.
We are looking for someone who has:
- BA or BS degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2-3 years of accounting or related finance experience, including experience in the software / technology industry
- Knowledge of US GAAP required
- Experience with Salesforce and Netsuite preferred
- Excellent excel skills
- Experience at a startup or high growth company a plus
- Strong accountability and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently and solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with internal business partners at various levels
- Hunger to learn and grow - new things aren't scary for you, they're exciting
What you’ll be doing
- Own the month-end close processes for assigned areas, including regular interaction with internal business partners
- Prepare analytics over financial results on a monthly basis and report on variances versus prior periods
- Post journal entries, complete account reconciliations and manage expense management systems
- Develop robust documentation of internal controls, and ensure all controls are performed and documented in a manner that will meet requirements of the external auditors
- Continually improve business processes through thoughtful analysis and researching best practices in the industry
- Assist in the planning and implementation of key financial software solutions
- Assist with external audit requests and other ad hoc projects

The following range is based on the scoped level within the organization and only for highly targeted geographies: 68k - 80k
