Job Description

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for various Corporate accounting processes including (but not limited to):

• Reconciling cash accounts across multiple business units
• Performing daily positive pay cash transactions, or check requests with multiple banks
• Ensure RPA bots for the JM Family accounting group are running properly and work with COE and external support to address issues. Perform work arounds if daily bot not performing.
• Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations related to the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and analyzing accounts to ensure proper recording of transactions.
• Assisting with monthly departmental financial reporting as well as ad hoc requests as needed

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience and bachelor's in accounting or other financial degree required.
• High level of proficiency in utilizing Excel and Word.
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail a must
• Ablitity to be self-driven and participate or lead process improvement projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
• Ability to be flexible/adaptable and work under strict deadlines.
• Strong conceptual skills and ability to manage multiple priorities required
• Comfortable working in a team environment and cooperating in cross-functions for the success of the team as a whole.
• Knowledge of NetSuite a plus
• Ability to work in the Deerfield office a minimum of two days per week.
