DAT is looking for a full-time Accountant II to join the Finance & Accounting team in Denver, CO.

What You’ll Do

• Assists in preparing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries for general ledger accounts (including cash, accounts receivable, fixed assets, deferred revenue, accrued liabilities, intercompany receivables/payables).
• Prepares, examines, or analyzes accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance with GAAP.
• Drives continuous improvements focusing on streamlining, improving and automating processes.
• Assists Finance team with preparing documentation for internal and external audits.
• Administers Travel Policy and reconcile corporate credit card activity with our expense reporting system.
• Reconciles cash on a daily basis.
• 1099 reporting.
• Reviews payment batches for accuracy and appropriate approvals.
• Prepares a range of essential accounting reports.
• Provides back up to the Accounting Manager as needed.

Skills and Experience You’ll Bring

• 4 to 6 years of experience with full cycle accounting processes.
• Strong set of problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• A detail-oriented, critical thinker, with solid organizational skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.

(Colorado only) In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $65,000 base salary, plus benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience.
