We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented finance professional to join General Accounting & Reporting team, with a primary focus on Fixed asset & lease accounting processes at both GAAP (i.e. USGAAP & local GAAP). The role offers strong exposure to end‑to‑end fixed asset & lease accounting, internal controls, compliance, and cross‑functional collaboration, particularly with business finance & controllership.
Key Responsibilities
Support and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Perform fixed assets and lease accounting activities, creation of accounting schedules, asset capitalization, retirements, performing journal entries, reconciliations & reporting, analysis, and variance explanations.
Ensure accounting and reporting comply with company accounting policies, Accounting & Finance Manual, and SOX controls.
Conduct detailed financial reviews and analyses to ensure integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial data.
Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation, explanations, and supporting schedules.
Identify control gaps and support remediation efforts in line with internal control requirements.
Actively participate in process improvement initiatives.
Support initiatives to standardize, automate, and simplify accounting processes and systems.
Work closely with Business Finance, controllership organization, and other global stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure smooth accounting operations.
Coordinate with stakeholders across functions and geographies, demonstrating good collaboration skills.
Maintain effective working relationships through regular interaction, responsiveness, and a customer‑centric mindset.
QualificationsQualifications
Bachelor/master’s degree in accounting / finance or Semi‑Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA/CWA).
3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, reporting, or fixed asset & lease accounting roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
Good knowledge of Excel and other MS office applications.
Good communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders.
Knowledge of SAP or S4 HANA would be an added advantage.
