Purpose:
The Lead Analyst of the Finance Transformation team will leverage financial and accounting experience and expertise to provide dedicated business support to finance transformation projects and automation and reporting enhancements.
Accountabilities:
Collaborate with business to ensure proposed process and technology solutions meet current and future needs:

Research issues related to current process pain points and assist in development of recommendations to improve processes.

Research issues that arise and participate in developing solutions.

Demonstrate attention to detail around business processes and controls, while remaining aligned to strategic vision
Work closely with Information Technology teams to deliver business value:
-
Independently manage assigned priorities, deliverables, and timelines, identifying issues for escalation as needed.

Serve as a liaison between IT and business users to ensure deadlines are met and business builds meet business needs.
Provide business support by executing or assisting with project activities:
-
Assist in the development of test plans and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) activities.
-
Perform data clean up, research issues that arise from pain points, defects, requirements, and other miscellaneous requests.

Influence change / change management by modeling behavior and training.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
5+ years of experience in Financial Transactional Accounting or Financial Reporting
-
Experience with BI tools to build large data automations using tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau
-
Knowledge of agile methodology for project management

Strong ability to develop working relationships.

Ability to adapt rapidly in a fast-moving environment and react quickly, dynamically, and intelligently to shifting priorities and requirements.

Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders on complex projects.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of their work.

Experience mentoring Junior Analysts

Bachelors degree or equivalent relative job experience
