Greenvolt Power Greece is looking for a Finance Trainee.
Key accountabilities
- Assist with daily financial and accounting tasks
- Support invoice processing, expense tracking, and reconciliations
- Help prepare financial reports, dashboards, and forecasts
- Conduct basic financial analysis and data entry
- Maintain and update financial records and spreadsheets
- Assist with budgeting and cost monitoring
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities
- Research financial data and prepare internal summaries
- Basic SAP navigation (FI module)
- Ability to view and extract journal entries (JE)
- Assist in updating the books through SAP during monthly closing
- Support in posting or preparing adjustment JEs (under supervision)
- Running standard reports (e.g., vendor balances, GL line items)
- Maintaining financial data accuracy within SAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking & Financial Management, or a related field
- Strong interest in finance, accounting, and financial reporting processes.
- Basic knowledge of Excel; intermediate to advanced proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP FI) and financial reporting tools is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work with numerical data and maintain organized financial records.
