Position Overview
ATLAS SP is seeking a VP, Finance Technology (Oracle GL & Subledger Platforms) to join the Data & Enterprise Services team. This is a senior, hands-on technology role focused on Oracle General Ledger (GL), subledger platforms, and accounting integrations that serve as the system of record for a finance-centric organization.
The role will focus on stabilizing, enhancing, and expanding Oracle accounting capabilities, onboarding new subledger and compensation-related functionality, and integrating accounting outputs into downstream data and reporting platforms.
The individual will work hands-on with Accounting, Operations, external vendors, and consulting partners to remediate gaps, modernize accounting workflows, and deliver scalable, controlled solutions across the finance ecosystem.
This is an individual contributor role with high ownership and strong execution expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
• Build, enhance, and support Oracle General Ledger (GL) and subledger accounting platforms, including core accounting data flows and controls.
• Work hands-on with vendor and consulting partners to assess, remediate, and onboard new Oracle functionality, including integration design and delivery execution.
• Design and implement integrations between trading, cash, and subledger systems and Oracle GL.
• Support the onboarding and operation of new subledger platforms
• Develop and maintain subledger-to-GL reconciliation frameworks to ensure balance sheet integrity and audit readiness.
• Support integration of accounting and subledger results into enterprise data platforms for reporting, analytics, and AUM-related use cases.
• Partner with Accounting teams on posting logic, journal generation, close activities, and exception handling.
• Troubleshoot complex accounting and integration issues across multi-system posting and reporting flows.
• Enhance platform architecture to improve automation, data quality, traceability, and operational resilience.
• Maintain strong documentation, testing, and release discipline while collaborating with engineering teams.
Qualification and Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Finance Technology, ERP systems, or accounting platform roles, preferably within financial services or asset management.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle General Ledger (GL) and Oracle Subledger Accounting (SLA).
• Experience supporting accounting remediation, system reviews, or platform health improvements.
• Proven experience onboarding new subledger or accounting-related systems and integrating them into Oracle GL.
• Strong understanding of finance-industry accounting workflows, including investment accounting, intercompany activity, and cash-related postings.
• Experience integrating accounting systems with enterprise data platforms (e.g., for reporting, analytics, or AUM-related use cases).
• Strong SQL skills for accounting data analysis and reconciliation.
• Ability to work effectively with Accounting teams, vendors, and consulting partners.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across complex accounting data flows.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed here.
