About the roleAs Finance Systems Manager for OneStream system at Dyson, you’ll be responsible for the smooth operation and ongoing development of Dyson’s global financial consolidation and reporting platform. You’ll drive strategic improvements, optimise system configurations, lead technical solutions, and manage operational support across time zones. Your leadership will positively impact teams across Global Finance by delivering reliable, scalable, and future-ready finance systems. Key Responsibilities:
OneStream Platform Ownership
Manage and optimise Dyson’s OneStream environment, ensuring continuous reliability, performance, and seamless support for month-end and planning cycles. Oversee platform upgrades, configuration enhancements, and daily operations.Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
Collaborate with local market finance teams, global finance, IT, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify needs and deliver system improvements. Resolve issues proactively and encourage open feedback.User Empowerment & Super User Training
Develop and deliver tailored training programmes for end users and super users. Maintain comprehensive documentation and support materials to foster adoption and skill-building.Strategic System Integration
Lead integration initiatives between OneStream and enterprise platforms such as SAP, GCP, and other relevant systems. Ensure accuracy in financial data exchange and alignment of processes.Process Automation & Improvement
Identify opportunities for automation of manual finance processes, designing solutions to enhance speed, efficiency, and accuracy group-wide.Change Management
Oversee change management for system updates and new features. Communicate impacts and timelines clearly to all users and stakeholders.Governance, Data Quality & Compliance
Ensure robust master data governance, effective user access controls, and strict adherence to Dyson’s internal policies and regulation.Continuous Improvement & Feature Enhancement
Stay abreast of industry trends, OneStream advancements, and evolving business priorities. Introduce new capabilities and drive ongoing enhancement of system processes and workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience working with financial systems in large, complex, or global environments, including at least 5 years of direct, hands-on management or administration of OneStream.
Proven success delivering large-scale system projects: deployment, upgrade, process improvement, and integration—especially with SAP, GCP, and related platforms.
Advanced skills in OneStream system design; technical proficiency in C#, VB.Net, SQL, and automation tools.
Sound understanding of financial consolidation, planning, budgeting, and reporting processes with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience automating finance workflows, supporting API integration, and migrating data between systems.
History of developing and delivering user training, building communities of super users, and driving system adoption.
Skilled in cross-functional collaboration—able to partner with global teams, IT, and business stakeholders.
Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.
Meticulous attention to data accuracy, detail, and rigorous standards for process improvement.
