We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Systems Manager to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to the Head of Financial Systems and be a member of the Finance team.
The core responsibility of the Finance Systems Manager is to support the Head of Financial Systems in overseeing all financial applications ensuring configurations, integrations, and interfaces work effectively. This will be a permanent role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Business Requirements Identification
- Support the Head of Financial systems to document complex business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the requirements in terms of target user roles and goals.
- Coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems and systems analysis.
Technical Developments Recommendation
- Participate in discussions to recommend more complex or innovative technical developments to improve the quality of the website/portal/application software and supporting infrastructure to better meet users’ needs.
Financial Information Systems
- Support the Head of Financial Systems to deliver financial systems changes and to meet project timelines and quality and budget requirements.
- Engage with finance users to identify requirements, and work with the team to design solutions.
Continuous Improvement
- Review existing operations in a major area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure the required continuous improvement outcomes are delivered.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level
- Wide and deep experience providing expert competence (Over 10 years
- Extensive knowledge of JD Edwards is a must
- Knowledge of Planful or another EPM tool is a must
- Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers (Over 3 years)
