We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to step into the Finance Systems Change Manager (‘The Change Manager’) role. The Change Manager owns the end‑to‑end delivery of accounting system enhancements—coordinating readiness, communications, deployment, adoption, and stabilization. They translate technical updates into user‑friendly guidance, partnering with other members of GFSS to deliver training, and support adoption of changes. This role partners with other members of GFSS to ensure smooth transition from systems release to maintaining and supporting the business users of the applications. Through effective communication, documentation excellence, and a structured approach to change, this role ensures system improvements deliver value while maintaining compliance and user confidence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the accounting and finance teams on the lifecycle of enhancements: intake, scoping, prioritization, timeline coordination, dependency tracking, and delivery execution.
  • Lead release readiness activities, including scheduling, stakeholder coordination, communication planning, deployment verification, and rollback awareness.
  • Partner with other members of GFSS to design and deliver training supporting new functionality deployments, including live sessions, job aids, and reference materials.
  • Collaborate with other members of GFSS to ensure smooth transition from systems release to maintaining and supporting the business users of the applications.
  • Collaborate with the FCC team to ensure adequate internal controls are in place to address the risks relating to the systems enhancements.
  • Leading deployment communications, monitor early‑stage adoption, document known issues/workarounds, and coordinate hyper care activities to support stabilization.
  • Maintain structured business‑side change tools such as release calendars, communication templates, readiness checklists, and decision/risk logs.
  • Create and maintain user‑centered accounting system documentation, including functional overviews, process guides, how‑to materials, and end‑user manuals.
  • Develop clear, accessible release notes that translate technical changes into user impacts, required actions, and links to updated guidance.
  • Serve as owner of the team’s SharePoint site, ensuring it remains the authoritative source of truth for release notes, documentation, training materials, FAQs, and support resources.
  • Enhance enablement materials based on user questions, support trends, and feedback to reduce recurring support needs.
  • Support user access reviews and role attestations by coordinating reviewer assignments, collecting evidence, tracking issues, and ensuring exceptions follow published guidance.
  • Maintain clear role and permission guidance describing access capabilities, risks, and approval expectations.
  • Assist stakeholders in ensuring system changes and access‑related processes meet compliance, auditability, and documentation standards.
  • Ad-hoc projects and other duties as applicable.
