About Role : Carousell is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance System Administrator to join our finance team. The Finance System Administrator will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of our finance systems, including NetSuite, Coupa, Expensify and others. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial systems administration, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Job Description

System Administration:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the finance systems.
  • Configure and customize the systems to meet the organization's financial requirements, ensuring optimal system performance and data integrity.
  • Manage user access, roles, and permissions within the systems.
  • Monitor system usage, troubleshoot issues, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.

Implementation and Upgrades:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather business requirements and design system enhancements.
  • Lead the implementation of new system features, modules, and integrations, ensuring successful deployment and user adoption.
  • Coordinate and perform system upgrades, patches, and releases, following best practices and minimizing downtime.

System Integration and Data Management:

  • Develop and maintain integrations between finance systems and other business applications, such as  CRM, HR, TMS  and other internal systems.
  • Establish and maintain data integration processes to ensure accurate and consistent data flows across systems.
  • Monitor data integrity, perform data audits, and resolve data discrepancies.

User Support and Training:

  • Provide end-user support, troubleshooting issues, and resolving user inquiries related to finance systems.
  • Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to enable users to effectively utilize the finance systems.
  • Stay up to date with system enhancements and new features, and educate users on best practices and system capabilities.

System Enhancements and Process Improvement:

  • Continuously assess and identify areas for system improvement and automation within the finance function.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and implement process enhancements.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Netsuite Certified Administrator certificate is required.
  • 3+ years’ experience with NetSuite’s One World Edition, including Suite flow, Suite Analytics, Suite Builder, and 3rd party bundle configurations.
  • Proven experience as a Finance System Administrator, preferably with expertise in NetSuite, Coupa, and Expensify.
  • Strong understanding of finance processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in system configuration, customization, and administration, with the ability to develop scripts, workflows, and reports.
  • Experience with system integrations and data management, including API integration, ETL processes, and data mapping.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
