Role Overview:
As the Finance Support Administrator, you will report to the Finance Manager joining our dedicated finance team in delivering accurate and timely finance services to the GE Aerospace Military and Commercial businesses in Australia and Singapore. You will assist and collaborate with other GE Aviation personnel to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and efficient conduct of the GE Aerospace business.
- Processing accounts payable with collation of invoices, data entry, payments and reconciliation
- Verify that the transactions comply with financial policies/ procedures and delegation of authority.
- Support with accounts receivable
- Providing limited administrative support to payroll
- Assisting with month end processes as required
- Manage the expenses and reconciliation of credit card transactions.
- Vendor liaison/troubleshooting, reconciliation and handling internal and external correspondence when required.
- Strengthen and grow relationships with business partners by resolving their queries and support them through timely payments and other urgent requests.
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable and expenses disbursement processes.
- Investigate discrepancies and recommend actions for resolution
Required Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in finance and accounting functions specifically accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Fluent written and oral English knowledge
- Strong knowledge in IT tools including Excel and Outlook
- Effective and professional verbal and written communication
- Compliance & controllership mindset
- Must be an Australian Citizen, to meet Defence security requirements, and may be required to hold and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.
