Team & role backgroundThe Wolt Finance & Strategy team plays a central role in driving our business toward sustainable, profitable growth. Our mission is to identify opportunities, refine our operating model, and guide strategic decision-making across the company.
Wolt+ (our subscription program) is one of the most dynamic and strategically important parts of the business. As a Finance & Strategy Manager, you will support the financial backbone of our subscription business. You will work closely with the Wolt+ Strategy and Operations team, partnering across Finance, Product, Data Science, and Business Development. This role reports directly to the Senior Finance & Strategy Manager for Wolt+ and offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to directly influence the future direction of Wolt+.
This position is well-suited for candidates with 6+ years of experience from investment banking, private equity, M&A, strategic finance, or FP&A background, who are excited to apply rigorous financial thinking in a high-growth tech environment.
What you’ll be doing- Support the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for Wolt+ on a global scale.
- Build, maintain, and improve financial and operational models that translate complex business drivers into clear outputs.
- Analyze and monitor performance across key metrics such as activation rate, order frequency, LTV, and cohort-level behavior, translating trends into actionable insights.
- Develop business cases and financial evaluations for Wolt+ Partnerships and initiatives, including pricing, margin scenarios, investment trade-offs, payback, ROI and commercial terms negotiations.
- Contribute to performance reviews by identifying risks, opportunities, and levers to improve outcomes.
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Wolt+ Operations, Business Development, Product, Data Science, Finance) to ensure alignment on goals, assumptions, insights, and data requirements.
- Prepare clear, structured analyses and recommendations for senior stakeholders, supporting strategic discussions and decision-making.
- 6+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A, strategic finance, or FP&A at a high-growth tech company.
- Exceptional financial modeling skills—you are highly proficient in Excel/Sheets and comfortable building models from scratch.
- Strong understanding of unit economics, margin drivers, and commercial structures.
- Strong analytical, structured thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate complex financial insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning workstreams end-to-end in an ambiguous environment.
- Experience with SQL, Looker, Snowflake, Python, or similar tools is a strong plus, but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
