Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Accounting & Reporting
· Prepare and post monthly journal entries (accruals, amortizations, allocations, reclasses).
· Perform month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring compliance with US GAAP/IFRS.
· Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and support trial balance accuracy.
· Assist in preparation of management reporting packages and financial analysis.
· Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements.
· Support internal/external audits by preparing schedules, explanations, and reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable (AR) Activities
· Generate customer invoices in NetSuite and ensure accuracy of billing data.
· Track AR balances and prepare monthly AR reports (aging, DSO, overdue status).
· Coordinate with US finance teams to monitor and report collections status.
· Support cash application and reconciliation of customer receipts.
· Provide regular AR dashboards and collection insights to management.
Compliance & Controls
· Ensure adherence to SOX/internal controls and support audits with schedules.
· Monitor intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
· Follow US accounting policies and ensure accurate reporting of receivables.
Stakeholder Collaboration
· Work closely with US Controllers, FP&A, and Operations on AR and GL matters.
· Partner with Sales/Revenue teams for invoice queries, credit memos, and collections.
· Liaise with AP, Payroll, and Treasury for cross-functional accounting requirements.
· Act as a first point of escalation for queries from business partners and auditors.
Qualifications & Skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA Inter/MBA preferred).
· 8–10 years of experience in GL accounting, reporting, and AR operations.
· Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
· Experience with ERP systems (preferably NetSuite).
· Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups) and reporting/analysis capability.
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across US time zones.
· Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple deliverables.
