ABOUT THE ROLE
Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) is a newly formed function within Takeda with the objective of enabling Takeda's business strategy, delivering simplification and cost reduction, improving service and providing a transformation engine for continuous improvement for Takeda. OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE
- Lead SOX and controls activities for Finance process areas, supporting the respective functional Solutions Lead, and working with the operational teams to ensure proper execution of controls.
- Manage control changes for the process areas within the region, ensuring RCM, documentation and training updated
- Independent thought leader providing strategic direction for the region & globally on risk and controls.
- A deep understanding and thought leader for SOX, able to give expert advice and insights across TBS and Finance, Risk & Controls
- Elevate control capabilities within the region
ACCOUNTABILITIES
For the Finance process areas (EUCAN/Americas/GEM, supporting other regions):
- Responsible for the strategic direction of risk and controls, identify and assess new risks
- Participate in relevant process changes initiated by the Global Process Owners (GPEs) or Solutions Teams, ensuring correct risks identified and appropriate controls implemented.
- Create, review, and maintain end-to-end process documentation, training and communication of controls.
- Ensure compliance with SOX and other operational controls, including on-going monitoring of controls program.
- First local point of contact with auditors, and requests within process responsibility including RCM, ToD.
Responsibilities for the site (Exton)
- FRC lead for Delivery Centre/ Hub, supporting the delivery center lead,
- Responsible for non-process specific training, and helping build future control capabilities
- First local point of contact with auditors, and requests for region, including ToE process
- Key site contact for other risk areas & local processes,
Other Responsibilities
- Manage global responsibilities for certain activities (e.g. training and comms) including giving relevant support in the Finance area
- Scaling risk & controls solutions globally
- Team leadership and development
- Drive a risk management TBS culture to ensure effective controls

Technical/Functional Expertise
- In-depth knowledge and expertise in Local GAAP & IFRS, controls and SOX compliance
- Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Accounting, auditing, reporting and internal controls professional familiar with a complex, global organization
- Good understanding of business processes, design and improvement e.g. Finance, HR, Procurement (and other business functions) and the interdependencies
- Experience in measuring progress through volume and outcome based KPI's
- Understanding of technologies supporting risk & controls processes and how they can be utilized to improve solutions
- Experience in project and change management
- Demonstrated ability to manage third party relationships especially external auditors.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
149,100.00 - 234,300.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
