The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $76K - $115K at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:This is what you will do in this role:
- Joint responsibility with project managers for the financial success of the projects.
- Support Project Managers with project forecast preparation, analysis & reporting
- Challenge execution teams to mitigate/minimize potential deviations from budget via risk identification and quantification activities
- Manage project financial projections (Estimates at Complete) and ensure any deviations from budget are clearly quantified and supported by root cause documentation
- Contract review and performance monitoring to driving favorable financial results through Change Order management activities
- Management of project working capital
- Monthly presentation of project financial performance to VP/Director of project execution and creation of associated management reporting dashboards
- Lead weekly pacing calls with PM’s to ensure monthly forecast commitments are delivered
- Support ad hoc analysis & other duties as assigned to improve the performance of project controlling function
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in either a projects business or manufacturing plant (preferred)
- Strong sense of ownership & accountability – with demonstrated ability to deliver success whilst working with an operational business partner
- Personality to build relationships while comfortable challenging and pro-actively driving change
- Inquisitive nature with exceptional analytical, critical reasoning, and communication skills.
- Desire to understand the product/solutions and not just the numbers
- Strong demonstrated use of SAP (or equivalent ERP), Excel and PowerPoint
- Min. 4-year Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
