SAP Key-user Process Specialist (Finance)

Ferring+You

You will be responsible for supporting our Finance team members around information systems usage (SAP and other IT Systems) and the processes used in the execution of Finance tasks. In this role there is close collaboration with the SAP and other IT core teams, Business Delivery Leads and Global Process Owners. You will contribute to the creation and maintenance of procedures and user manuals, identify process and system training needs across all Finance streams and functionalities.

Your day at Ferring

• Provide support to SAP and other Finance IT Users regarding functional questions while ensuring that processes are being executed as defined.

• Follow-up with the IT Architects on technical errors and improvements.

• Timely inform relevant stakeholders on potential issues, evaluate the risks and propose corrective measures.

• Report and follow-up incidents via our IT Service Desk. 

• Participate in SAP Implementation and other Finance IT related projects, as needed.

• Contribute to performance management and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., propose standardized and coordinated use of financial information systems, identify and propose optimization measures).

• Support the definition of effective process and IT delivery requirements and support finance process harmonization on a global scale.

• Act as the SAP System/process expert for Finance (P&P/A2R)

• Create support documentation for End Users (SAP EnableNow) and organize the training cycle and train End-Users.

• Support on User Acceptance Testing phases (UAT).

Behind our innovation… There’s you

• University degree in Finance, Management, accounting or economics

• 5 - 10 years’ experience in Finance in multinational environments. 

• Great understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes (P&P/A2R).

• Experience in A2R Process (Account-to-Report (A2R) domain covers general ledger accounting, asset accounting, overhead cost controlling, product costing and period end closing activities - mandatory. Additional, but not mandatory: can also include accounts receivables and accounts payables, as well as financial planning and budgeting, treasury, credit management, and tax accounting.

• Experience with ERP implementations is a great plus.

• SAP Experience in the modules FI/CO

• Able to clearly explain SAP topics in business terms to non-specialists.

• Demonstrate continuous process improvement skills (experience with Lean projects would be a plus).

• An analytical, and problem-solving mindset.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

• Ability to work independently and influencing multiple stakeholders.

• Advanced English level (oral and written)
