We are looking for an exceptional Finance Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the travel and expense process end-to-end with a small team of 4 people. Note this is a contract role to start, however has the potential to be converted to a full time position with strong performance.
Responsibilities- Review employee expense reports to ensure expenses are within company policy which includes checking receipts, expense coding, expense explanation, etc
- Perform audits and analysis on employee expenses
- Provide assistance to employees who have questions or issues with the expense submission, policies, tools, or workflows
- Assist in coding and reviewing corporate credit card expenses
- Assist in special projects to improve the travel and expense process
- BA/BBA/BS Degree from 4 year university
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proficient in Excel + Google Sheets is preferred

A Verkada employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
