Position Overview:
The Finance Operations Associate will support operations by delivering high-quality transactional finance activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial control. The role will focus primarily on daily invoicing, bank reconciliations, AR collections and payment processing, with scope to expand into broader finance responsibilities over time.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue daily customer invoices and credit memos in line with agreed processes.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders / clients to resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Manage the accounts receivable ledger and ensure accurate recording of customer invoices.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding balances and support the monthly collections process.
- Prepare and upload vendor payment runs to banking platforms in line with approval workflows.
- Maintain accurate financial records across finance systems.
- Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation as required.
- Support process improvement and standardisation initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with the UK finance team and wider business stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance
- 2-4 years’ experience in finance operations or similar accounting role.
- Demonstratable experience performing bank reconciliations and investigating and resolving reconciling items.
- Experience managing accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, collections and customer account reconciliations.
- Sound understanding of accounting principles, including double-entry bookkeeping.
- Experience using accounting software or ERP systems such as Xero, Netsuite, or similar.
- Experience using Excel for reconciliations and reporting, including lookups and pivot tables..
- Able to stay on task with minimal supervision and regularly report on progress on an individual and team basis.
- Able to effectively multi-task in stressful situations.
- Highly motivated with a willingness to take initiative and complete assignments
- Fluent in English
Skills Required
