Why this role exists
As we grow, the Finance team needs to tighten monthly close and reporting while rolling out Gen-AI and automation projects that maximize efficiency and insight rising. You’ll sit at the intersection of FP&A, Accounting, Tax and Data, hunting for manual pain points and turning them into automated workflows that free the team to think, not copy-paste.
🟣 Your challenge at Yuno
• Redesign and automate finance workflows (FP&A, SP&A, Accounting, Tax, AR/AP) with Gen-AI, LLMs and low-code tools
• Spot and unlock efficiency gaps by analysing current practices and challenging the status quo
• Own reporting hygiene: help build and maintain FP&A/SP&A dashboards, variance analyses and board materials.
• Manage three Financial Statements
• Continuously scout, test and roll out new tech that levels-up finance operations at startup speed.
• Run a continuous-improvement of Finance backlog—size ROI, organise agile work, and track post-go-live impact across area
• Collaborate with other areas implementing company-wide AI and efficiency projects
🟣 Skills you need
• 1-3 yrs experience in FP&A / SP&A or similar roles. Preferably from consulting, banking, VC/PE or a fast-growing startup.
• Working knowledge of financial statements & accounting; you can partner with accounting teams
• Advanced EnglishTool belt: advanced Excel/Sheets.
• Moderate or Advanced AI tool management.
• SQL/BI; curiosity for Python, Looker/Power BI, NetSuite or RPA is a plus.
• AI mindset: you’ve already automated a task with ChatGPT, Zapier, Make or a similar platform. Comfortable using or learning AI tools to streamline and enhance operational efficiency.
