Finance Operations Analyst
Our Finance Operations team is now looking for a Finance Operations Analyst to play a key role in driving insight and efficiency across our finance functions. You will produce analysis and reporting that supports not only the Finance Operations team, but also provides valuable insights to the wider Finance organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their finance career looking to grow their expertise and contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
About the Role
As a Finance Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing accurate reports and providing financial analysis to various teams across the Finance department. Your role will also be instrumental in maintaining compliance, driving process improvement, and supporting internal and external audit functions. You'll engage with stakeholders across the business and play an integral part in initiatives that keep our operations both efficient and compliant.
Your responsibilities will include:

Producing financial analysis and reporting for key finance stakeholders

Owning and improving monthly performance slide packs for Finance Operations

Supporting project roadmaps and scoping with key stakeholders

Performing aged stock calculations, posting journals into SAP, and reporting aged stock metrics

Creating and managing SharePoint workflows
-
Conducting MAP investigations and reconciling balance sheet accounts

Responding to internal queries and supporting audit processes

Driving new initiatives to maintain regulatory compliance

Supporting wider Finance functions with ongoing analysis and improvements

Ad hoc tasks and project work as required
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

About You
You’ll bring strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and a willingness to learn. You’re an early-stage accountant eager to develop through a professional qualification, and you thrive in environments where you can contribute to both process improvement and financial reporting. You take ownership of your work and adapt easily to shifting priorities.
You will also have:

Advanced Excel skills and confidence using VBA

A foundational understanding of financial accounting

A high level of curiosity and interest in learning new concepts

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
