Finance Officer – Full time

We’re looking for a full-time Finance Officer to join our team at Cordis, Auckland. This is a hands-on role supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Revenue functions, ensuring accurate financial processes and strong controls across the hotel. You’ll play a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of the business, while supporting the team with efficient day-to-day operations and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and supplier statements

  • Prepare weekly payment runs (including overseas payments)

  • Support accounts receivable and customer refund processes

  • Complete daily revenue reconciliation and financial audits

  • Monitor supplier ageing and ensure timely payments

  • Prepare financial and MIS reports (variance, expenses, capital spend)

  • Carry out cashier reconciliations, cash counts and spot checks

  • Identify discrepancies, investigate issues and improve processes

  • Support financial controls to minimise revenue leakage

  • Maintain accurate financial records (digital and physical)

What We're Looking For

Our candidate will bring:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Previous experience in finance, accounts or hospitality finance (preferred)

  • A proactive and solutions-focused mindset

  • Confidence working with numbers, systems and reporting

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams

  • A high level of integrity and accountability

  • The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

  • Flexibility and willingness to support across different finance functions
