Finance Officer – Full time
We’re looking for a full-time Finance Officer to join our team at Cordis, Auckland. This is a hands-on role supporting Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Revenue functions, ensuring accurate financial processes and strong controls across the hotel. You’ll play a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of the business, while supporting the team with efficient day-to-day operations and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities

Process and reconcile accounts payable and supplier statements
-
Prepare weekly payment runs (including overseas payments)

Support accounts receivable and customer refund processes
-
Complete daily revenue reconciliation and financial audits
-
Monitor supplier ageing and ensure timely payments
-
Prepare financial and MIS reports (variance, expenses, capital spend)
-
Carry out cashier reconciliations, cash counts and spot checks
-
Identify discrepancies, investigate issues and improve processes
-
Support financial controls to minimise revenue leakage
-
Maintain accurate financial records (digital and physical)
What We're Looking For
Our candidate will bring:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Previous experience in finance, accounts or hospitality finance (preferred)

A proactive and solutions-focused mindset

Confidence working with numbers, systems and reporting

Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams

The ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines

Flexibility and willingness to support across different finance functions
