Deltia is an AI company building for manufacturing and industrial automation. We're at Series A and moving fast. This role owns the finance function day-to-day and is built to grow into Head of Finance as we scale. You'll work directly with the founders and have real influence over how we build our financial infrastructure.
What You'll Do
Investor Reporting
Own LP/investor reporting cycles: prepare monthly and quarterly packages, manage data rooms, and ensure reporting is accurate and on time
Be the internal counterpart for our investors' finance and portfolio teams
Controlling
Maintain and improve our controlling setup: P&L, cost center tracking, variance analysis
Own the month-end close process and coordinate with our external accountants on VAT filings and year-end
Build and maintain internal dashboards that give founders real-time visibility
Forecasting and Planning
Own the financial model: rolling forecasts, scenario planning, cash runway visibility
Drive the annual budgeting process and keep headcount and OpEx plans current
Finance Operations
Work with Juniors / interns and direct their efforts
Oversee AP/AR and vendor payment runs
Identify process gaps and fix them before they become problems
What You Bring
4+ years in finance, with at least some startup or high-growth company exposure
Solid command of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS familiarity is a plus
Fluency with financial modeling (Excel/Google Sheets at minimum; planning tools like Mosaic, Runway, or Pigment a plus)
Experience owning investor reporting in a VC-backed environment
German and English, both working-level or better
You operate independently, communicate clearly, and don't need hand-holding

What We Do
AI-based process analytics platform to increase productivity and quality in manual shop-floor processes. Processes are captured using computer vision and automatically analysed with a highly flexible AI to identify improvement potential. 1. Real-time capture with cameras Cameras are installed at individual assembly stations capturing live video streams of assembly or packaging tasks. 2. AI tracks material & work steps Video streams are continuously analyzed to detect workpiece movements, cycle times, and work step sequencing. 3. Aggregation for data analysis Process data is aggregated per article and production to provide insights on process performance. Video snippets allow for a comprehensive root-cause analysis. 4. Data-driven improvements Your factory managers and process engineers define, implement and measure process improvements to increase productivity and quality in your assembly line.
