The role
As our Finance Manager, you'll run the day-to-day of Atlantic's fund finance: across portfolio monitoring, cash flow and invoicing, fund accounting and reporting, compliance, and special projects. You'll report directly to our Head of Finance and work closely with our Partners, our fund administrator and our tax advisor.
Beyond the day-to-day, you’ll have a clear mandate to automate. The goal is to cut manual work in half and let portfolio insights surface on their own. If building the finance function of a modern VC sounds better than maintaining one, read on.
What you'll own
Automation. You develop our existing setup, and automate finance and administrative workflows wherever it adds value.
Portfolio monitoring. You collect the reporting from our 150+ portfolio companies and use AI to turn the data into insights that the team can act on.
Cash flow and invoicing. You manage liquidity planning, management fees and invoicing across our funds and management company, and support capital calls and distributions.
Fund accounting and reporting. You review the work of our fund administrator and support the preparation of quarterly LP reports, annual financial statements and tax filings.
Compliance. You keep our funds and management company compliant, from regulatory reporting to KYC/AML checks.
Special projects. You take on ad hoc projects across finance, from new reporting requirements to supporting FX management.

About you
You'll feel at home here if you:
Learned finance where the bar is high. Maybe in fund finance at a VC or PE firm, at a fund administrator, in Big Four audit or advisory, or in a strong controlling team.
Know your accounting inside out, and enjoy putting it to work on a fund

Love turning data into insight, not just reconciling it

Speak fluent German and English
Bonus points if you've worked in or around venture capital, or built your own dashboards, BI reports or no-code automations.
Skills Required
- Experience in fund finance at a venture capital or private equity firm, fund administration, Big Four audit or advisory, or a strong controlling team
- Strong accounting knowledge and ability to apply accounting principles to fund finance
- Ability to automate finance and administrative workflows
- Ability to analyze data and turn it into actionable insights
- Independent ownership, follow-through, and attention to detail
- Fluent German and English
- Curiosity about startups, deep technology, and founders
- Experience in or around venture capital
- Experience building dashboards or business intelligence reports
- Experience building no-code automations
