Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Reporting
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, P&L reports, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Monitor hotel revenues, expenses, and profitability.
  • Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Monitor departmental expenses against budget.
  • Support department heads with financial analysis and cost management.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities.

Cost Control & Compliance

  • Ensure proper internal controls are maintained across all departments.
  • Monitor purchasing, inventory, payroll, and operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE labor laws, VAT regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.

Accounts & Cash Management

  • Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Cashier, Payroll, and Income Audit functions.
  • Monitor hotel cash flow and bank reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables and settlement of payables.
  • Oversee petty cash and cash handling procedures.

Payroll & Human Resources Coordination:

  • Review payroll accuracy including overtime, service charge, incentives, and deductions.
  • Coordinate with the HR department on employee financial matters and final settlements.
  • Ensure payroll costs are in line with budget and forecast.

Operational Support:

  • Work closely with operational departments to improve financial performance.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and provide commercial insights.
  • Support procurement and contract negotiations where required.
  • Assist in developing strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Ensure proper training and performance management within the department.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and teamwork.

Compensation:

Basic- AED 7000-AED 8000

Housing-Studio Accommodation

Service Charge- As per business 

Medical insurance - Premium insurance coverage 

Annual Air Ticket to home destination

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of finance experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Previous hotel finance experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel financial systems and PMS platforms.
  • Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and labor laws preferred.
