The Finance Manager will act as lead and manage the division’s ongoing and future land banking relationships and real estate transactions. Responsible for coordinating with all internal departments and outside consultants in the preparation of all feasibility reports and due diligence.

Your Responsibilities on the Team
Assist and/or prepare computer models (VestaCalc’s) necessary to facilitate analysis and evaluation of third-party financing options.
Gather and provide copies of purchase and sale agreements (PSAs), development schedules, reimbursement agreements, environmental reports, market analysis, home plans, etc. to internal and external parties.
Assist in all financial analysis required to manage proformas of existing developments and coordinate proforma analysis with assistance from accounting department.
Coordinate communications between necessary parties to complete financing transactions.
Strong understanding of land development budgets and reimbursements.
Monitor cash requirements report for accuracy and timing of deposits and closings.
Monitor budgets and updates for financed assets.
Assist with formation and reporting of community facility districts and Finance District Credit Agreements/Confirmations & Reimbursements.
Track joint venture obligations and assure compliance.
Prepare updates and schedules for periodic corporate reporting.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Your Toolbox
Five (5) years of related work experience required with at least three (3) years homebuilding experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Valid driver’s license required
Strong accounting and/or finance background
Advanced PC skills, including use of Excel Spreadsheet and Microsoft Word for Windows
Problem-solving desire/orientation and be able to deal with complex problems in an efficient manner leading to management decisions and recommendations
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and writing skills required
Hands on individual-detail oriented
Basic good judgment, high moral and ethical standards
Follow directions from a supervisor

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
