Summary:Key Responsibilities

Team Management: 

  • Lead and supervise an accounting team (2-3 people), ensuring effective task distribution and professional development.

Financial Statements and Reporting:

  • Prepare group consolidation adjustments.

  • Analyze and monitor adjustments for GAAP differences (local GAAP vs. US GAAP).

  • Prepare and deliver the monthly Reporting Package to the Group.

  • Perform Flux Analysis and provide justifications for main variances.

  • Collaborate on external audits.

  • Assist in the review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Provide financial reports to senior management and assist in the analysis of financial results and KPIs.

General Group Accounting:

  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of group accounting records.

  • Oversee and review group accounting operations across.

  • Guarantee compliance with local and global accounting regulations across the group

Processes and Improvements:

  • Participate in the implementation and enhancement of accounting tools and ERP systems.

  • Implement process improvements to optimize time and resources.

  • Propose and execute automation and efficiency initiatives within financial processes.

Requirements

Academic Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance (Big 4 experience is a must).

Technical Knowledge:

  • Mastery of accounting principles: Advanced knowledge of Spanish GAAP required, US GAAP knowledge is a plus.

  • Solid knowledge of group consolidation processes and intercompany eliminations.

  • Proven experience in external or internal audit cycles and statutory reporting.

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel 

  • Experience with ERP systems and reporting tools is a plus

  • Financial analysis skills highly required

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

  • Experience with AI tools and automation workflows is highly valued.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Project management experience is a plus.

Languages:

  • Fluent in Spanish.

  • Advanced level of English.
