Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Manage cash and bank accounts
- Prepare regulatory reports to FSS, KOFIA and BOK, as well as ad-hoc regulatory reporting requirements
- Prepare Net Capital Ratio(NCR) in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare quarterly review and year-end audits
- Review expenses in accordance with group policies, including invoices, staff travel and entertainment expenses, and processing payments
- Prepare monthly / quarterly submission of regulatory filings ( e.g. WHT,VAT,VAT proxy)
- Prepare intercompany reconciliation and settlements
- Maintain the fixed assets register
- Perform daily / month-end closing activities and prepare related journal entries
- Provide support for team and group requests, including internal audits, reporting requirements and other related initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accountancy or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Finance/Accounting
- Experience in securities brokerage or a related industry is preferred
- Strong sense of ownership with the ability to proactively resolve issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, good personality and motivation.
- Strong PC skills, especially MS-Excel skills is a must
- SAP experience preferred; exposure to automation initiatives is preferred
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
