Finance Manager

The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes across Hotwire Communications. This role ensures accurate financial analysis and provides strategic insights to support decision-making and organizational growth. The Finance Manager works closely with business leaders to monitor financial performance, manage risks, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly financial close process and prepare internal financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
• Manage the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads and executive leadership.
• Analyze financial results, variances, and trends, and deliver actionable insights to drive performance improvements.
• Support business units with cost analysis, capital expenditure tracking, and ROI modeling.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics across the organization.
• Ensure accuracy of financial data, including revenue recognition, expense allocations, and intercompany transactions.
• Assist in financial planning related to new product launches, market expansions, or infrastructure investments.
• Partner with Accounting and FP&A teams to ensure consistency in reporting and compliance.
• Lead initiatives to improve financial processes, systems, and internal controls.
• Manage and mentor junior financial analysts or accountants.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership, board meetings, and investor updates.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax professionals, and legal advisors during audits or regulatory filings.
• Other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required (Master’s or MBA preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or management roles
• Telecommunications or technology industry experience preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools
• Experience with ERP or financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, SAP)
• CPA, CMA, or similar financial certification is a plus
