Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (hybrid)
Type: Permanent, full-time
About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In this role, you will oversee all accounting, reporting, and control activities to ensure compliance with company and statutory requirements. You’ll play a key role in financial governance, tax compliance, ERP implementation, and continuous process improvement.
This role would suit a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for accuracy and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead month-end close activities, ensuring accuracy in reconciliations, accruals, and reporting.
- Manage vendor payments, billing, and intercompany transactions with a strong focus on data accuracy and governance.
- Support statutory, tax, and internal audit requirements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
- Partner with Procurement and Accounts Payable teams to strengthen vendor management and improve financial processes.
- Contribute to ERP system integration and champion process improvements to enhance control and efficiency.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- 3–5 years’ hands-on accounting experience, including month-end close and management reporting.
- Solid understanding of reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and e-Invoicing.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Exposure to internal/external audits and a background in a multinational or cross-country finance environment.
- A professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA (preferred).
- Strong communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- A mindset that values accuracy, integrity, adaptability, and continuous learning.
