We are looking for a talented individual who shares our values to join our team as Finance Manager. This position reports to the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of GEL.

THE ROLE:

This is a senior position with an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to gain exposure to all aspects of the Group’s diversified operations and will provide access to all levels of management across the business.

The successful candidate will also be expected to work closely with the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Work with the Group CFO and M&A Analyst on analysis of targeted investments and other projects
  • Work with the Group CFO to analyze the performance of each Division
  • Work with the M&A team on scenario modelling exercises
  • Assist with the annual Group audit and preparation of annual report
  • Work with the Divisional Finance Managers to ensure that the necessary accounting and internal control systems are in place across the Group
  • Assist the Group CFO with the coordination and execution of the financial strategy of the Group
  • Assist the Group CFO with preparation of Board reports
  • Assist with the Group’s monthly and quarterly financial and managerial reports

Qualifications, Experience and Skills required:

  • A professional accounting designation (ACCA, CGA, CPA or CFA)
  • 3-5 years’ post qualification experience in a senior role
  • Proficiency in consolidation techniques
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Very detailed-oriented and meticulous
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
