Join our team at The Aerial, BVI - renowned for delivering an exceptional guest experience. As we continue to grow and provide top-tier service, we are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our hotel and ensure the smooth running of all financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all financial aspects of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Oversee cash flow management, profit and loss analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Work closely with department heads to prepare and manage financial reports and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and internal policies.
- Lead the monthly closing process, prepare financial statements, and liaise with FC as needed.
- Support the General Manager and executive team with financial insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
- Manage payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Implement and monitor effective internal controls and procedures.
- Utilize OPERA Cloud for managing property financial data and SAGE Intacct for accounting purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in a boutique or luxury hotel/resort environment. Preferably in the Caribbean
- Strong working knowledge of OPERA Cloud, SYMPHONY and SAGE software.
- Excellent understanding of hospitality financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Solid knowledge of local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with different departments.
- Analytical mindset and keen attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CFA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus).
