Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB
This position is responsible for the control and analysis of the R-UPPECC Region budget through the monitoring of the company's sales, expenses, and profitability to identify the main deviations in the key performance indicators, in addition to providing clear and precise information that facilitates decision-making and business decisions. Also, this position is responsible for interpreting income statements of the different business units and legal entities. In addition, is responsible for management and delivery of accounting results for corporate and local purposes for R-UPPECC countries, as well as the management of working capital, cash flow, bank transactions, fixed assets, and compliance with accounting and statutory regulations. Also, this position will be in charge of direct, indirect, services and travel reimbursements, to keep the operations of suppliers and employees updated, always guaranteeing compliance with the guidelines established by the region and by local regulations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the execution of the budget planning process to ensure that it is aligned with the requirements and objectives established by the region, complying with the delivery schedules and parameters defined.
- Carry out budget monitoring of the company's business units to guarantee a correct sales forecast and a correct execution of expenses and identify possible savings and/or deviations.
- Lead the preparation of the different financial reports for the monitoring and control of the performance of the business units.
- Lead the analysis and parameterization of account structures, cost centers and product codes to guarantee the correct mapping within the corporate tools that allow detailed monitoring and accurate reporting of each of the expenses executed/operating profit margins of the company. corporation.
- Provide finance information tools for the different business units.
- Responsible for the monthly closing of the company and preparation of local and corporate financial statements.
- Guarantee compliance alignment with internal policies and accounting estimates.
- Attention to internal and external audits.
- Responsible for compliance with local and international SOX, USGAAP, IFRS, transfer pricing and local taxes.
- Administration and continuous improvement of the company's Working Capital.
- Coordination and review of payment proposals according to the maturities of the obligations contracted by the company (payment to suppliers and reimbursements to employees).
- Coordinating bank transactions platforms
- Proactively participate in all the activities defined according to the position and role, within the framework of the SG-SST Occupational Health and Safety Management System, seeking health and safety care, thus achieving compliance with the defined in the Company's policy in this matter.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Accountant or related areas.
- At least 3 years of experience executing and managing processes in the financial area.
- Advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of budget preparation and control.
- HFM, JDE verifiable knowledge.
- Desirable SAP.
- Knowledge and management of the application of NIFF, IFRS, USGAAP, SOX, JSOX etc.
- Knowledge of local tax regulations.
- Knowledge of control and administration of inventories, fixed assets, accounting, and accounts payable.
- Desirable previous experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Fluency in English.
