What's on offer?
Fulton Hogan are looking for a new Finance Manager to support us in our delivery of the Level Crossing Removal Project, as part of the Metropolitan Roads Program Alliance (MRPA). This role will play a key part in the successful delivery of our six current level crossing removals and upgrade to a number of car parks across Melbourne. In addition there is opportunities over the coming years to deliver many more technically complex projects as the business grows.
In this role you'll be responsible for:
- Provide Leadership, guidance and training to all employees in relation to procedures and deadlines for finance related activities
- Prepare and review Alliance financial management plan. Ensure compliance against plan Assist AGM with preparation of Adjustment events and tracking of costs against those events
- Identify and enact cost efficiencies and process improvement opportunities
- Maintain effective creditor payment process with compliance to DOA including monitoring accounting records and internal controls
- Ensure that the Cost to Date (including accruals) and Income to Date on all projects is accurate and reliable P
- Preparation of timely and accurate Alliance financial reporting Monthly review of costs versus budget and management of reporting to meet business performance review requirements; including cost analysis, profitability and project operational performance Manage month end project financial reporting timelines
- Preparation of all project financial reports, including the monthly Job Status Report and cash flow forecasts
How you'll connect to the role?
- Bachelor of Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
- Experience in a Finance Manager position. A leadership style that has created successful and efficient delivery teams for major civil infrastructure projects. You encourage and celebrate positive outcomes, while fostering a culture of autonomy, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Excellent ability to understand and interpret project and client specific requirements.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
