FCB is looking for a Finance Manager to financially and operationally manage the L&T (Lord and Thomas) studio.

The role is responsible for the studio financial management from start to finish including job openings, estimating, time tracking, WIP analysis and job closing. The Finance Manager will be responsible for revenue recognition as well as expense analysis.

The role is responsible for understanding the fundamentals of the production and post-production process to help facilitate the most modern and agile process for estimating, tracking, and actualizing costs across all brands.

This role requires both production business knowledge and financial acumen. It is critical to ensure FCB is operating sound and scalable operations and financial systems.

  • First point of contact for all financial matters relating to the studio (internal and external)
  • Manage all revenue and the expenses for the studio with a focus on overall margins
  • Work closely with the Studio Director to ensure that jobs are progressing smoothly
  • Troubleshoot job/system issues and find solutions that work operationally
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement process change and improvements
  • Actively participate in and procure documentation for various audits (SOX and internal audits)
  • Produce required monthly and ad hoc reports
  • Facilitate billing, cost adjustments, and proper reconciliation of client jobs
  • Obtain and organize all financial bids, estimates, and paperwork for each project

  • FCB has adopted a hybrid working environment. It is required for employees to be in office Tuesday-Thursday and can work from home Monday and Friday.

Actual salaries will vary and be based on various factors including but not limited to budgetary and market consideration, as well as an applicant's background experience, pertinent/specialty experience, qualifications, and tenure in role/similar role.

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree and/or relevant experience required
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with detailed, transparent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt and flex communication within fast pace, ever-evolving environment
  • Tenacious and comfortable solving complex problems
  • Experience in Production and Post-Production a plus
  • Working knowledge of office computer applications required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, IOS.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
